It is an ideal morning on the Inter coastal waterway for us from Pennyonthego and what do we see? Fins in the water! At this point we are forty to sixty feet from shore in our twenty two foot deck boat. We put the engine in neutral and we watched for another sign of, what had we just seen.

A Dolphin breaks the water just thirty feet away, followed close by another. With a splashing of water and fins and backs breaking the surface, we count; one, two, four Dolphins only a boat length away. What an exciting start to our boating day. We are always in awe when we are priveleged to see such beautiful sights.

This is Our first outing by ourselves on a boat from the new Boat Club, Wavesboatclub.com. It is clean and full of gas, runs like a top. We just had to add our bag lunch. What a treat, no cleaning involved!!!!

Now, this is really the fourth time out on one of their boats. First we had gotten a demo ride and an introduction to the surrounding area. Our second time out was an evening of boating from one restaurant to another in a club sponsored ‘Progressive dinner cruise’. All of the boats were professionally captained and all this Pennyonthego’er had to do was enjoy the moon and the stars on the water. The other benefit was you got to experience some local-flavor type waterside restaurants you hadn’t known about.

The third trip out was an "on the water" check to qualify your boating skills and ability to read markers and buoys. Additional training was available as needed.

The boat club is also a social club, and we at Pennyonthego felt that Wavesboatclub.com really provided us with not just a large selection of boats but the opportunity to meet other people that boat and fish and enjoy being on the water.
