Lutsen, Minnesota-Sled and Horseback Ride

In Lutsen, Minnesota, there is place called Lutsen Resort and Mountain that has: horses, slides, biking trails, running trails, skiing trails, and much more!!!!

The horseback riding is real fun! A couple employees will bring as many horses out as you need, and get everyone settled into their saddle. They will teach you how to stear your horse and even what the horses name is. When you first start, the leader and his companion will lead everybody up a huge hill into the woods. Through the ride he will tell you to lean back when going down hill and lean forward when going uphill to help prevent the horse from falling. It also gives the horse less pressure to carry.

The scenery is wonderful. You can see all kinds of tree types, flowers and animals.

The path is windy and horses like to rub up against the trees on the sharp curves. If you listen quietly you can hear the woodpecker and squirrels all around. It really is a fun and beautiful thing to do.

The biding, running and skiing trails are beautiful. They go for miles on end with the most wonder view of animal’s habitats and scenery. The trails are also quiet and lots of fresh air. It’s a really nice place to go and think while you take a morning jog or afternoon bike.
